Clinical Psychologist Ecem Demir

She completed her undergraduate education in Psychology with honors at Middle East Technical University (KKK). Later, she completed her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Yeditepe University with high honors and her thesis titled "The mediating role of cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the relationship between social media use and body satisfaction" and gained her expertise.

 

Following her master's degree, she provided psychotherapy services under supervision at Yeditepe University Bagdat Street Polyclinic and later provided 600+ hours of psychotherapy services to Koç Holding employees and their relatives via the Medihis platform. During her undergraduate education, she worked as a psychologist in research projects and consultancy centers. After completing her undergraduate education, she conducted clinical evaluation studies with obese patients before bariatric surgery at Liv Hospital and conducted post-operative evaluations of patients.

At the same time, she continued her volunteer work with children at the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV). She completed the "Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (CBT)" training given by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sungur, organized according to the educational standards of the European Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT). She also completed the Dynamic Psychotherapy Basic Training given by Prof. Dr. Doğan Şahin.

 

Currently, she provides psychotherapy services to adults and adolescents at Bayındır İçerenköy Hospital on certain days; and on other days, she provides individual psychotherapy services to both adolescents and adults at her office in Caddebostan.

At the same time, she continued her volunteer work with children at the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV). She completed the "Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (CBT)" training given by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sungur, organized according to the educational standards of the European Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT). She also completed the Dynamic Psychotherapy Basic Training given by Prof. Dr. Doğan Şahin.

She has completed the Exam Anxiety and Career Counseling training and also provides support on related issues.
