Clinical Psychologist Maria Aslan

She completed her undergraduate education in psychology with honors at Istanbul Bilgi University. She completed her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Bahçeşehir University, and completed supervision and theoretical courses. The thesis of 'Examination of Narcissism in Russian and Turkish Individuals' is in the writing phase.

During her undergraduate and graduate education, she did internship in many institutions and hospitals. She worked as an intern psychologist in the psychiatry services of Yedikule Surp Pırgiç and French Lape hospitals, and in the neuropsychology service of Bezmialem Vakıf University Medical Hospital. There she observed many psychopathologies and learned and applied various neuropsychological tests.

She took part in many projects in the Autistic Association, which operates with the Aura Art Therapy Center, and participated in supervisions there for 1.5 years. She gave importance to volunteer activities and worked in different NGOs.

During her education at Bahçeşehir University, she received psychoanalytic supervision, learned and applied TAT and MMPI tests. She completed the one-year 'Introduction to Psychoanalysis Seminars' training at the Istanbul Psychoanalysis Education, Research and Development Association, and the 'Psychoanalytic Case Studies' training, which is the advanced study of the same association, and the former president of the American Psychoanalytic Association and one of the most important living theorists, Otto Kernberg. She continues her education on 'Diagnosis and Treatment of Personality Disorders'.

Providing professional support to adults in the field of individual therapy in Turkish and Russian, Maria Aslan works with psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy schools with anxiety disorders, depressive mood, psychological bodily ailments, relational problems, traumatic experiences, anger problems, eating disorders. She participates in seminars and training programs that will contribute to her development in her field, and also continues her own therapy process.
